- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆If I could give them zero stars I would. I was a State Farm customer for 5+ years. And in that time the quality of service has continually gone down while my premiums have continually increased. With the latest increase I was told the state of North Carolina was forcing them to have to increase rates. I have since found out that State Farm just told me this as an excuse to raise my rates. I priced matched about 6 other companies and every single company had better rates and better customer service. If you are looking for any sort of insurance RUN from State Farm and RUN FAST from Jim Hodgens and his horrible staff. This staff is rude and unorganized.
