- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Lanny Lancaster provided an inaccurate appraisal of a home I was purchasing in Salisbury, N.C. His measurements were incorrect, as he failed to due a thorough inside and outside measurement of the house. Due to his inaccuracies, I was forced to pay for another appraisal. His appraisal was incorrect due to two earlier appraisals made by the former owners of the home. A second appraisal was conducted. Mr. Lancaster's inability to correctly perform his job also led to unnecessary temporary housing costs for my family as well as adding undue and unjust stress surrounding the home buying process. Furthermore, Mr. Lancaster is also a licensed real estate agent, which is a direct conflict of interest in the real estate/appraisal industry. He has a very bad reputation in the Concord/Salisbury/Charlotte markets for being unprofessional and rude to realtors and other clients. I fully intend to report him to the North Carolina Appraisal Board and the Better Business Bureau.By K.C. Culler, March 22, 2017
